Web Designers, Technical Writers, Graphic Artists and others who hate writing content.

As a copywriter, I am often called upon to do work for a client, where part of the contract involves the site design and layout.  I find myself in a quandary over these types of contracts, for many reasons.

Year’s back, I got to thinking that there are many other professionals who have the same problem when it comes to writing the content for a site.

The client only wants to have their site built and up and marketing.  They usually prefer a one stop location to get this accomplished, but let's face it, any professional in the above fields has a specialty and to concentrate on multiple specialties takes time which is usually un-billable, and in the long run - costly to not only you, but to the client as well.

So here is what I did.  I specialize in content and copy writing only.  But I associate with designers who specialize in the design and layout, and with graphic artist who do better artwork then I can do.

I work with tech writers who do the technical pages but feel uncomfortable writing marketing words, and who realize that copywriting is different then tech-writing.

I work with site promotion people who take the efforts of this type of teamwork, and concentrate on promoting the client site.  The client is happy.  The site is better served and one company manages the project, even though multiple companies may have had their hand in the design and setup.

I work with advertising agencies and people who have done an analysis of their clients sales, and who have suggested that their clients need a redesign or new web site.

I also work with translation agencies who can translate the work of a qualified content and copywriter, so that the client gets more results out of their website.

With this in mind, if you are a site designer and looking for the proper content for your client’s site, then call me.  I discount my normal rates to independents and freelancers and work through you, not direct with the client.  (Unless you want me too of course)

I reciprocate, because like I said, I do one side of the total requirements well, and that's because I outsource the other side to do who do their part well.  My associates are those people who realize their best lies within their areas of expertise.
